Aquilar's Current Date:

The civilized races of the Aquilar world have evolved and adapted to the hardships they've confronted over many millenia. Each race described below has developed their own unique culture and often deal with each other in different ways. These races have survived and endured the ages of Aquilar and are the pool from which the players can draw their characters. Please read through each race and learn their strengths and weaknesses and special abilities. Experienced Role Players of the Dungeons and DragonsŪ RPG will be familiar with some of these races, but there are many differences all the same.

The links below will take you to the Players Guide page describing races. The Players Guide is not yet complete, but when it is we will update our site and put it up in multiple formats for download. For a more detailed description of each races culture, please visit the Races page in the World directory.

Race Descriptions:

There are two other races that will soon be available for Player Character race choices and possibly more as the game system develops. Suggestions are welcome!

  • Simmallarian (spawn): a race of demonkind from the Underworld that long ago breeded with men and Danarai, and helped spearhead the Blood War. Long thought extinct, these frightening beings are beginning to resurface throughout the world, leading many scholars to believe that another war is coming!
  • Yu Getti: a race of intelligent insect humanoids that live in the Southern Realms. They distrust most other races, except Saurians, and rarely venture outside of their homelands.

Following are the links to Tables containing the Bonuses, Penalties, and Adjustments for your Character Sheet.

This above all, to thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.
- William Shakespeare
