The Celestials

The Celestials were ancient beings of great power that lived among the heavens when the universe was new and the stars were young. The druids believe that in the beginning, the five raw elements and their energies formed together in the perfect combination and spawned life as a being known as Gaea. Gaea, also known as the Earth Mother, brought light and life to the void and used the five elements to create the universe as it is known. Gaea labored for a millenia creating the stars, the planets and weaving the patterns of the universe but she could not rest because the young universe needed nurturing and care, she decided that she could not do it alone and there was no one else to enjoy her wonderful creations. Mother Nature gave life to fifteen beings very much like her in many ways to tend to the fledgling universe and provide her with companionship. These fifteen beings were called the Celestials and each was given an aspect and great power, but also were they given great responsibility. Gaea bade each of her children to tend to and care for their aspects and worlds they claimed home, such was her law.
